Keeping a Safe Distance

“Living on the edge” has become a rallying cry for thrill seekers the world over.

And yet there are others who simply don’t realize the dangers that Rocky Mountain highs can pose.  Such folks are often tourists on long-awaited vacations.  They’ve endured years of drudgery in order to experience the very best that Planet Earth has to offer.

It's easy during adventurous travels to forget that Mother Nature is a force to be reckoned with.  She doesn’t take kindly to those who underestimate her powers.

Her Grand Canyon should therefore be approached with a healthy dose of respect.  It has already proven lethal to hundreds who threw caution to the mighty winds.
