Too much of a gold thing

It’s been said that too much of a good thing is a bad thing, even if that good thing is a gold thing.

German police recently pulled a gold-plated Porsche off the road because it was “too shiny.”  After all, it’s never any good to be blinded by wealth.

Although told to remove the reflective finish, the driver did not comply.  When nabbed a second time, his car was forcibly towed and deemed illegal.  Foiled again!
