This
ancient lion was “possibly larger than
a polar bear,” and could easily snack
on any one of us. Its giant jawbone
(along with some razor-sharp teeth)
was recently discovered in
Kenya.
Simbakubwa
stalked the earth during
the late Paleogene Period, approximately
“23 million years ago.”
