Sloth: Deadly indeed

What, me worry?  (Public Domain)
Sloth has long been classified as a deadly sin.  It can take many forms, not the least of which is excessive sleep.

A study from Quebec indicates that sleeping more than eight hours per day can lead to a 200% increase in the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

“Research presented at a 2012 American College of Cardiology meeting” indicates that sleeping so long can also up the chances of angina and/or coronary artery disease.

Sloth of this nature has furthermore been linked with depression, an inability to become pregnant, obesity and/or premature death.
