Ready or Not, Here They Come

Remember that old joke:  What’s worse than finding a worm in an apple?  The answer, of course, is finding only half a worm.

Well then, what’s worse than finding yourself at the mercy of mad scientists?  The answer might soon be finding two of yourself.

Since 1996, scientists have cracked the mammal-cloning code.  This began with Dolly the sheep, and continued on with the cloning of “dogs, cats, pigs, cows and polo ponies.”  What's next?  Dolly the Parton?

This is no longer a far-fetched notion, being that Chinese researchers have recently managed to clone a primate.  Two primates, to be exact: female monkeys named Zhong Zhong and Hua Hua.

It might not be long until Zsa Zsa and Eva are also cloned.  Many believe that humans are primates too.  If so, they are primates with a penchant for playing God.
