Not Getting Any Younger

Savor each grain!  (Photo by S Sepp)
Although 30 is the new 20, and 40 the new 30, clocks keep relentlessly ticking.

Lest we forget that our bodies are loaners, reminders appear during life's fifth decade.  Faces wrinkle, joints creak, tummies swell, eyes squint, ears clog, skin dries, hair thins, spines shorten and muscles weaken.

While tossing and turning at night, give some thought to the fleeting sands of time.  This will not cure insomnia, but it might make each and every grain a gem to savor.
