Thankfully, the cat came back

A cat bite is not necessarily a bad thing, especially when it saves lives.

After kissing kitty goodnight, a Canadian family (parents and two children) also went to sleep.  At about 3:30 a.m., the mother was bitten on her arm by said feline.

Turns out that the house was on fire.  The family might not have awakened in time were it not for kitty’s sharp teeth.  Alberta’s Grande Prairie Fire Chief Trevor Grant credited the cat with alerting the family to danger.

Instead of "Here kitty,” Facebook users are now exclaiming:  Hero kitty!
