Lady Gaga didn’t have to make a Super Bowl speech.  She let her music do the talking, and her visuals do the walking.

Although long declaring allegiance to everyone, she has definitely leaned toward the left.  Gaga’s choice of patriotic songs, for example, showed solidarity with Woody Guthrie and his fan base.  After all, Guthrie wrote “This Land is Your Land” in protest of “the uneven distribution of wealth in America.”

Nevertheless, the Lady’s message goes far beyond political correctness.  She has long stood tall for compassion and kindness.  Such empathy far transcends politics, sports and/or other worldly treasures.
