North Korea: Boomerang karma

Heaven or Hell?  (Photo by Bdpmax)
Rumblings within North Korea’s sacred Paektu Mountain have spawned rumors of a possible volcanic meltdown.  Paektu last blew its top around 946 AD, with one of the most violent explosions in recorded history.

The law of karma certainly seems to apply here.  With North Korea aiming to blow certain countries to smithereens, it is particularly ironic to observe Nature’s own response.

Even more ironic is North Korea’s call for help from the very nations it threatens.  The International Business Times reports that Western countries such as the United States are helping to assess the current danger levels.

British collaborator James Hammond recently warned:  This volcano is quiet at the moment, but it’s definitely got potential.  We need to keep an eye on it.

The same might be said of North Korea itself.
