One might say that a recent Trump decision is for the birds because it decidedly isn’t.
Disregarding the dangers that corporate ventures often pose to migratory birds, Trump’s administration is seeking to negate longstanding protections of the Migratory Bird Act. Dating back to 1918, “the act was passed to prevent the unregulated killing of or other harm to” these fine feathered friends.
When birds are harmed, the ecosystem suffers. “Native religious traditions” are also negatively impacted.
