Perhaps we haven’t yet discovered life on Mars because it’s lurking underground. At least that’s what current theorists are suggesting.
NASA scientists are considering the possibility that life might exist within Martian caves and lava tubes. These haunts could offer far more environmental stability than the “oxidizing, radiation-heavy” surface.
Life exists under extreme conditions here on Earth, so why not on Mars also? Yet life on the fourth rock might have evolved in unimaginable ways. It’s a pretty sure bet that little green men aren't cavorting in those caves.
