The
enthusiasm for such apparently continues. The Indian Army recently came
out with so-called proof that the Yeti actually
exists. One of its Himalayan teams
sighted footprints “measuring 32X15 inches”
and assumed them to be “Yeti tracks.”
In
the past, traces of “mysterious monsters” turned
out to be remnants of bears and
canines. DNA sampling of bones, teeth and
hair provided proof of that.
Primate-type
footprints in the snow might be
tough to identify. They might prove
as elusive as Frosty the Snowman come
spring.
