Promising Stats

While fans are focused upon the NBA playoffs, stats of another kind are quickly adding up.

Test results from the first year of LeBron James’ I Promise School are now in.  MAP (“measure of academic progress”) scores from fall to winter show good growth in both math and reading.  In fact, this rate of increase was greater than in “99 out of 100 schools, per Northwest Evaluation.”

The Lakers will not be "taking finals" this year, but LeBron’s students could more than make up for that with theirs.
