Something's not adding up

When 11-year-old Mariana Taylor knelt during her classroom’s Pledge of Allegiance, she was ordered to
stand.

After leaving the room in tears, Taylor sought solace from another teacher.  The American Civil Liberties
Union (ACLU) later became involved, as did Hillary Clinton.

Clinton tweeted:  It takes courage to exercise your right to protest injustice, especially when you’re 11!   The Supreme Court had verified that this is Mariana's right in a case called Tinker vs. Des Moines.

Taylor's district, the Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS), claims to “fully support students’ rights.”  This does not seem to jibe with the confrontation that Mariana endured.
