When things
got down and dirty for a Bellville,
Illinois man’s pet parrot, a risky rescue
was in order. The parrot had gotten
stuck in mud resembling quicksand,
but that didn’t deter the
man. He went on in and proceeded to sink.
The man
called for help and was fortunately heard. Firefighters ended up pulling
him and his parrot out safely. Dogs may be
man’s best friend, but this man’s heart
belongs to a bird.
