Silly goose or silly golf?

What’s more ridiculous – protecting loved ones from potential threats or whacking dimpled balls with metal sticks for no apparent reason?

Once upon a time (recently), there was a goose and a golfer.  The golfer was doing his inexplicable thing while coming dangerously close to a goose nest.  Apparently, what’s good for the golfer is not good for the goose.

Mother Goose therefore attacked said golfer.  How do we know?  The proof is in the viral internet photos.

Comments then flowed like mother’s milk.  Some were downright prejudiced, calling the goose “mean.”  Can you imagine?  All she was doing was guarding her kin.  Is that mean, or is it simply a vibrant expression of love?
