Minutes
after Oklahoma City suffered a crushing
defeat by Utah, these fans seized the opportunity
to heckle Westbrook. Rather than
graciously acknowledging the reigning MVP’s
amazing stats, they tried to tear him
(and perhaps his family) down.
Hit a man
when he’s down, and anything can
happen. Westbrook simply had had enough, and
afterwards “sang” these blues: Here in Utah there are a lot of
disrespectful vulgar things are said to the players here
with these fans truly disrespectful. Talk about
your
families, your kids, it's disrespect to the
game and I think it's something that needs to be brought up.
Utah’s star
rookie, Donovan Mitchell, attempted this
defense: It happens everywhere, not just in Utah.
Worse yet. Seems like this
just bolsters Westbrook’s stance
all the more.
