Blessed Either Way

Although God helps those who help themselves, He also helps those who help others.

Rev. Timothy Bourman and his wife were recently on the Southwest flight that suddenly dropped in midair.  Bourman immediately began praying:  Jesus… send your angels. Thinking his daughters were about to become orphans, he sent them one last message: Never lose your faith in God.  Jesus loves you girls.

Miraculously only one passenger died (after an heroic rescue attempt by two others), and the plane landed safely.  Bourman remained calm throughout it all, later explaining:  I also knew that whatever God’s plan for me was, I was going to be blessed either way.
