Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: 'I wouldn't have done that...'

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has done many great things, but there’s one thing he admittedly wouldn’t have done: raised his children in the way that LaVar Ball has.

During a recent talk with members of the LA Press Club, Abdul-Jabbar slammed Ball’s parenting of Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo, stating:  One of the sons might’ve been much better off studying law or medicine or computer science or something that they really felt from within, instead of their father’s fevered ideas of how wealthy he wants to be.

Certainly, LiAngelo should have studied some law before his recent debacle in China. Abdul-Jabbar has a point:  Fame and fortune ain’t nothing if it doesn’t rest upon a firm foundation of ethics.
