Before and After (Photo by SquarePeg) |
Mark Imhof, a New York City groomer, makes it his business to primp people’s pets. But what about
potential pets? Can shelter dogs stand a bit of fluff and stuff? Imhof thinks so, and lends two helping hands to the cause.
His canine makeovers have helped many a pup to be adopted. It
also lifts their spirits while waiting.
Imhof first realized this after adopting a rescue pit bull named Cleo.
He noticed how Cleo quickly morphed from “utterly defeated” to content after receiving her first Imhof shower.
