Worth the Risk

There’s a well-known saying that those who exchange freedom for security will lose both.   But how about those who exchange security for kindness?

Jon Porter believes that radical kindness is surely “worth the risk.”  He backs this up with plenty of action.  In addition to doing home improvement projects for complete strangers and showering others with money, Porter has now donated a kidney to someone he learned about on Reddit.

Having been diagnosed with high-functioning autism, Porter says that radical kindness is his way of connecting with others.  It has also helped him to cope with long-standing “depression and anxiety.”
