Icy reception from Greenland

President Trump, whom they say “knows a thing or two about buying real estate,” has at least one eye on Greenland.

But Greenland isn’t buying what Trump is selling.  Nor is Greenland selling what Trump brags of buying.

Nevertheless, Greenland (growing greener by the minute) does have its virtues.  There are minerals galore beneath its fast-melting ice, plus plenty of goodies above ground and within waters.

So who gets to keep Greenland?  Technically, Denmark.  And what do the Danes say?  Their former prime minister tweeted the following about Trump’s alleged desire:  It must be an April Fool’s Day joke… but totally out of season!
