Beating the Odds

(Fair Use)
Every time a lottery player wins big, it’s tempting to run right out and buy a ticket.

However, it’s wise to remember that playing the odds are so named because the chances of winning are
odd at best.  In fact, they may be as low as “1 in 175 million.”

In plain English, this means that you’re “more likely to become president of the United States” than you are to win the lottery.  But hey, you never know!  As Wayne Gretzky once said:  You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
