Another Oops

Stonehenge   (Photo by Gareth Wiscombe)
On the heels of all the confusion surrounding events at the recent Indigenous Peoples March, we now have another “oops” moment.  Thankfully, this one is not as potentially deadly.

Just last month, archaeologist Neil Ackerman made a seemingly exciting announcement:  A “prehistoric” stone circle had been discovered “on a farm in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.”

Turns out that the site had been put together in the 1990s.  Perhaps the stones were old, but the conclusions were pretty juvenile.
