Lindsey Vonn is now finding that out. Having been through four
right-knee surgeries, not to mention a missing lateral
collateral ligament (LCL) on the
left, Vonn’s Olympian feats are
pretty much over.
Coming to
that realization has been difficult
for the woman who raised her sport to a
whole new level. Vonn stated: You know the end is coming but it doesn’t make it any easier.
Ain’t that
the truth for all of us who are both blessed
and cursed with conscious anticipation...
