Windy Planet

Chicago in Flames    (Currier & Ives, 1871)
Chicago has long been dubbed the Windy City, but who knew that Mars would later be called a windy planet?

Now the whole world knows, due to new information from NASA’s InSight Lander.  For the very first time, humans are able to hear 10-to-15 mph gusts of wind sweeping the red planet’s surface.

Although coming from another world, these sounds are reminiscent of Earth on a “windy summer afternoon.”  Perhaps the universe is interwoven, after all.
