According to
The Sunday Mirror, Prince Harry is
sitting out this year’s Boxing Day hunt because
his wife is opposed to blood sports. Although Meghan Markle’s view seems quite compatible
with the gentle spirit of
Christmas, she is being criticized for it.
There is a
Christmas hymn called “The Friendly
Beasts” which reminds listeners of the vital
roles played by animal friends. Perhaps Markle’s
detractors ought to sing a verse or two
whenever tempted to judge her harshly.
