Millennials choosing wisely

Despite being “psychologically scarred,”  Millennials are making some wiser choices than their Boomer predecessors.

Having grown up within the recession, Millennials are quite financially astute.  They don’t see the need for separate napkins when a roll of paper towels will do. They’re not into McMansions when tiny houses are enough.

Engagement rings no longer need diamonds in order to sparkle, and trendy brands linger longer on racks.  Fewer and fewer shoppers set foot in stores anymore, preferring to save time and money online.

Millennials are also choosing ethically.  Interest in football has declined, perhaps because of NFL reluctance to treat players fairly.  Some Millennials refuse to work in the oil and gas industries, explaining that these companies are "causing problems rather than solving them.”
