From the fire into the frying pan

A mere six months ago, 18 piglets and two sows were rescued from a burning barn. 

Spoiler alert:  They are now sausage.

How so?  The farmer who raised them was so grateful that she knew just what to do:  fatten them up, then morph them into thank-you gifts for the firefighters.

According to anthropocentric fairy tales, wolves are the bad guys. 

Go figure.
