She recently wrote an open letter to Kim Kardashian, urging her friend to swear “off fur this winter.” Appealing to Kardashian’s “big beautiful heart,” Anderson stated: I think you’d be
horrified to learn that every single
fur farm that PETA [People
for the Ethical Treatment of Animals] has exposed has been beyond
cruel.
Anderson mentioned that Melania Trump and Gisele Bundchen have already decided “to stop wearing fur.” She also gave some horrifying descriptions of fur-farm
conditions.
Anderson has used her celebrity status for the good of animal-kind. She’s
been championing their rights for years. This past July,
she even “offered the mayor of Jackson Mississippi free vegan lunches…”
