Glaringly Obvious

Eyes need light in order to see.  Yet people have been blinded by too much glare.

This is especially dangerous while driving.  If someone is visually compromised by oncoming headlights, an accident could easily occur.  General Motors was recently asked to recall “about 727,000 small SUVs in the U.S.” for that reason.

General Motors disagreed with this ruling by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, claiming that headlights on the 2010-2017 GMC Terrain SUVs “didn’t affect safety for surrounding vehicles.”  It is nevertheless likely that the recall will occur.
