Cosmic Convention

Saturn and Earth   (NASA/JPL/Space Science Institute images)
The sky has seemed a bit crowded lately, what with all the hobnobbing that’s been going on.

Mars, Venus, Saturn and our very own moon got together for one last fling until 2040.  They assembled in triangular fashion on Earth’s horizon during this past Monday’s predawn hours.

‘Twas a sight worth waking up for!  After all, how often is it that such formidable entities are willing to rub celestial shoulders with one another?
