After just a
few weeks, your number of
mitochondria will increase. Mitchondria are “the
parts of cells that convert carbs, fat, and
protein into fuel” for your muscles. This will
energize you considerably.
Within six
months, you’ll feel locked into your
exercise routine. Most dropouts occur before
that. Muscles will now be shaping up, and oxygen
will be more readily available. Within a
year, your bones will be denser.
All this not
only spells increased health, but also
economic gain. Medical costs should greatly
decrease, as you’ll be at a far lower risk for
arthritis, heart disease, dementia, type 2
diabetes, breast and colon cancers.
Surely a
couch can’t compete with all that. In fact, few
things can.
