Boeing’s bio hasn’t always been the greatest, but lately the company’s been taking off.
Its goal is to stage commercial aircraft that runs on 100% biofuel by the year 2030. This is in keeping with the industry’s 2050 goal of reducing “carbon emissions” by 50%.
Boeing’s already made some advances in this direction. It successfully staged a FedEx flight in 2018, which ran solely on biofuel.
