Running for a really long life

Rogers in 2016  (Photo by curtrog)
The day after Orville Rogers read Aerobics by Dr. Kenneth Cooper, he began running.  That was half a century ago, and Rogers hasn’t quit since.

For his recent centennial birthday, Orville plus four generations of his closest kin ran a cumulative hundred miles.  Although he can’t go as far as he used to, Rogers still lives life
“with a capital L.”

This World War II veteran was also a pilot during the Korean and Cold Wars.  He eats “good food” and exercises regularly.  Nevertheless, Rogers attributes his long life to one major thing: “my relationship with God.”
