Frozen: A sequel

Human Blastocyst   (Public Domain)
Seemingly no more improbable than the storyline of “Frozen,” an embryo that “had been cryopreserved for more than 24 years” morphed into a bouncing baby girl.

Miracle infant Emma Wren weighed six pounds, eight ounces when she was born in November.  For someone who had been frozen all those years, she “looks pretty
perfect.”

Although “Let It Go” applies well to certain situations, “Hang In There” fits this one to a T.  Dr. Jeffrey Keenan of the National Embryo Donation Center is therefore urging “couples who have embryos in long-term storage to consider this life-affirming option…”
