Lead yourself not into temptation

Pope Francis recently pointed out that God does not lead us into temptation.  Often it is we who place ourselves there.

The work site can be a cauldron for such affairs. Occupations such as bartending and casino operating put workers smack in the middle of licentious behavior.  When this occurs day after day, and night after night, it can quickly erode the marital bond.

Jobs that require shifting schedules with little quality home time are also high on the divorce charts.  A large percentage of flight attendants and construction workers have fallen into this category.

Since we spend so much time at work, it behooves us to choose carefully.  When factoring in the pros and cons of a potential job, work/life balance seems essential.  The cost of a broken marriage can far exceed the hardship of a lower salary.
