Johnny Jennings: Recycling kindness

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle  (Public Domain)
Some recycle paper.  Others recycle clothing.  Johnny Jennings recycles all that, plus far more.

After decades of practice, 86-year-old Jennings now has this down to a routine.  Planning to continue “until I turn my toes up,” he “collects paper from local businesses and churches, then recycles it at a local center.”

The proceeds are passed on to Georgia Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries.  They amount to anything between $10,000 and $35,000 annually.

Jennings also has wisdom to spare.  His message to future generations is this:  If you got it to give, give it away.
