'Born-Again' Donald?

Because babies have been recently born, and because leading evangelical James Dobson referred to Donald Trump as a “baby Christian,” does this mean that Donald has been born again?

Such is the word in certain circles these days.  During a recent interview, Focus on the Family founder Dobson said, “I don’t know when it was, but it has not been long…  I believe he [Trump] really made a commitment [to Christ]…”

Far be it from us to critique Trump’s “conversion” in the way that he himself has critiqued Hillary’s faith.  After all, Saint Paul wasn’t always a saint either.  Dobson therefore urged, “You got to cut him some slack.  He didn’t grow up like we did.”

Hopefully, though, Trump will grow up now.
