Cleaning Everest

If you’re thinking of climbing Mount Everest in order to flee from the trash of this world, think again.  Or at least think metaphorically, for there are literally tons of garbage along the trail.

By next year, many plastic items will be banned from that area.  This is part of an overall "effort to curb pollution left by

climbers and tourists."

Although similar bans have been tried before, this time around there will be more accountability by way of fines.
