Fed up with this universe?  If Stephen Hawking was correct, then there might be others to choose from.

Right before his death (and possible transition to another universe), Hawking co-authored a paper called “A Smooth Exit from Eternal Inflation.”  Not a weight-loss plan, it instead “details how we may be able to detect other universes using a spaceship.”

If the Big Bang led to other Big Bangs, “each producing its own universe,” then their radiation imprints might be detectable.  If that were the case, then perspectives regarding humanity’s cosmic importance could radically change.
