Facebook-free at last!

Beware!   (Public Domain)
Like all addictive experiences, the Facebook habit is hard to break.  It may require a whole lot of incentive to cut that tie.

Such incentive was recently provided by news that Cambridge Analytica, “a political data firm that worked on President Trump’s 2016 campaign,” had “access to private [Facebook] data.”

Many feel that Facebook has become “a garbage platform of ads and weird reposted articles,” including decidedly racist ones.  Although not an easy decision for those who keep in touch with friends and relatives through this social-media platform, it seems only right to consider other channels.

Such channels might include the following:  Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, e-mail and phone texts.  If all else fails, meet in person.  Hugs work far better that way.
