With violence ripping our politics apart, a question concerning the Vice President-elect is gathering steam: Should Kamala Harris be seen wearing Converse in her upcoming Vogue cover?
While wanting to appear casual and approachable (some might say “woke”), Harris sported an NBA look. But heck no, not on the cover! Doesn’t Vogue know anything about U. S. politics? The trick is to appear woke enough to attract Democrats, but not woke enough to repel Republicans.
So covers are for blue suits, and sneakers should be snuck within Vogue’s hallowed pages. After all, images matter: often more than deeds themselves.
