We’ve all been reminded of the power of Tweets. One piercing peep can quickly influence millions.
This holds true for dollars as well as for voters. Elon Musk, known for his burgeoning wealth, recently tweeted two stark words: Use Signal. This sent shares of Signal Advance soaring, even though Musk was not at all referring to this obscure Texas company.
What he was referring to was a “messaging platform” called Signal, the rival of WhatsApp. Which just goes to show: It can literally pay to be somewhat savvy about social media. Although herd immunity is tough to come by, herd mentality is all too prevalent.
