Volvo's electrifying news

Giving Tesla a hum for its money, Volvo recently announced that it will no longer produce solely-combustion engines after 2018. It will instead focus upon “fully electric vehicles and hybrid cars.”

Volvo, long famous for its safety concerns, now extends that care to the environment.  It aims to operate in a “climate-neutral” fashion within the next eight years.

Originally Swedish, the company is now owned by Geely, a “Chinese firm.”
