When good is not good enough

'King James'  (Photo by Keith Allison)
Even if you’re best in the world at what you do, that’s not necessarily good enough.

Thus thinketh LeBron James, as well as his admirer, James Comey.  Comey used to tell folks at the FBI that James “illustrates what the endless pursuit of excellence looks like.”

Comey had furthermore pointed out that James “measures himself not against others, but against himself.”  If FBI agents were to follow James’ example, they could up their game considerably.

Although no longer with the FBI, Comey still believes that James is “the king, at the top of the game.”  Perhaps Comey also thinks that a good king is preferable to a bad president.
