Unity in Community

African Buffalo   (Photo by Ikiwaner)
Cities like Buffalo, New York can be real proud of their namesake animals.  Human citizens can certainly learn a thing or two from these forerunners of concrete jungles.

Tourists in Zambia, Africa were treated to a display of unity in community when a herd of 500 buffaloes stood firm against attack by a famished pride of lions.  Their offensive and defensive moves were far greater than any shown on NBA courts.  After all, these bovines weren't striving for rings, but for life itself.
