A bit more patience could have worked

Excelling at basketball doesn’t necessarily mean that you skip to the head of the restaurant line.  If your fans got there before you, well then, so be it.

After Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks to victory, he was feeling the need for some refueling.  He and his girlfriend therefore stopped at the BelAir Cantina, about a mile from the stadium.  After approximately 10 minutes of waiting to be seated, the couple left.  In the meantime, fans were shouting at management to find their hero a table.

Antetokounmpo himself was not mouthing off.    To his credit, he silently waited.  Perhaps his patience ran out, or perhaps he wanted to ease the commotion.  In any event, he then moved on out.

The restaurant (likely fearing flak) has now conditionally offered extra tacos to fans if the Bucks win their next game.  BelAir Cantina, however, did nothing wrong.  In fact, it was treating customers in a fair and equal fashion, rather than inviting celebrities to rule the roost.
