“Been there, done that” is a statement that most ex-presidents can easily make.  When you’ve been through it all, what do you do for an encore?

If you’re Barack Obama, you then become a wedding officiant.  That’s not a misprint, Obama recently presided over the wedding of two former staffers: Dana Remus and Brett Holmgren.

Not (yet?) being “Reverend Obama,” he “reportedly earned a temporary officiant’s license through the city government.”  The Obamas maintain a residence in Washington D.C. because daughter Sasha is still in high school there.

Although no longer in the world's biggest bully pulpit, Obama hasn’t lost the oratory touch.  The groom’s mother stated that he issued some heartfelt remarks “after the bride walked down the aisle.”
