More than
three decades ago, Christa McAuliffe
planned to teach science from within the
International Space Station
(ISS). Her lessons will now be taught by
ISS educator-astronauts Ricky Arnold
and Joe Acaba.
Four will be “posted online by the
Challenger Center.” The center’s
president, Lance Bush, recently
declared that “he’s thrilled ‘to bring
Christa’s lessons to life.’”
The
Challenger Center specializes in “science,
technology, engineering and math
education.” Christa’s lessons
include topics such as “bubbles, chromatography,
liquids and Newton’s laws.”
